Artist Tania Kovats introduces her new exhibition ‘Oceans’, which is showing at the Fruitmarket Gallery. This work explores Kovats’ fascination with the sea, and includes sculptural works, and a global project called ‘All the Sea’, which is a collection of water from seas all over the world.
British artist Tania Kovats makes drawings, sculpture, installations and large-scale time-based projects exploring our experience and understanding of landscape. She is best known for Tree (2009), a permanent installation for the Natural History Museum in London; and Rivers, an outdoor sculpture in the landscape of Jupiter Artland outside Edinburgh.
Oceans is on at the Fruitmarket Gallery, Edinburgh until the 25th May 2014.
