Photographers Catherine Cameron and Jolanta Dolewska discuss their work in January’s Talk See Photography event, held at CCA. Both photographers work with analogue technology, Dolewska incorporating found imagery with new photographs, creating a dialogue between pictures and exploring the various connections they may have, and Cameron deconstructing and reconstructing scenes, working in with repetitive processes.
TalkSeePhotography is a monthly event with presentations by photography practitioners, curators, and writers which are followed by an open discussion. The reason behind the event is to facilitate a scene for critical dialogues within and across subject matters. The unsaid and repetitions both engender practice, therefore the aim is that no question should remain unasked however difficult it may be to articulate it.
