Artist Kirstine Roepstorff discusses her solo exhibition “Mother of Time Showing Her Fruits”, which is a continuous engagement of finding forms within the subject of the invisible. Roepstorff’s exhibition explores themes of time, light, tone and density through her collage pieces, metal work and hanging sculptures.
Density and transparency, presence and absence create an internal rhythm that expresses Roepstorff’s interest in non-verbal interchange whilst reminding us of the subtle encounters when the internal meets the exterior.
Mother of Time Showing Her Fruits is on at the Danish Cultural Institute until the 19th June 2014.
