Proving to be a hit with the Edinburgh audiences, artist Isa Genzken’s exhibition has been extended until the 5th October, at Inverleith House.

Writer and curator David Bussel introduces the exhibition, which features a range of pieces created in the past 2 years, some never seen before, Genzken’s work utilises cheap and ready made objects to create assemblages that can be seen as humorous and disturbing.

Isa Genzken is considered to be one of the most influential female artists of the past 30 years, producing mainly sculptural work, using different kinds of materials such as epoxy resin, wood and plastic. Genzken also works with film, photography, paper and collage.

Isa Genzken is on at Inverleith House, as part of the Edinburgh Art Festival, which is on until the 5th October 2014.
