Recoat’s Amy Whiten introduces the Spring Fling Rural Mural, which is a series of 6 murals painted in locations across Dumfries and Galloway. Partnering up with Spring Fling Festival, the project sees the collaboration between local, Scottish and International artists to create 6 large scale murals that have adorned shops, barns and vehicles, amongst other things.

Spring Fling is an annual festival that takes place in Dumfries and Galloway, and celebrates the best the region has in local contemporary arts and crafts. Artists will open up their studios over the 24th and 25th May to allow members of the public to have a look and explore the process behind some of the works created.
